The Great Debaters – a perfect apt for title….
The Great Debaters, a movie which I have just finished seeing (almost 3.30 in the morning)…
Should I call It a movie r a lesson to be learnt froma real life story… Anything couldn’t get better than this for this title…. Story is just a one liner…. Denzel washington (Melvin Tolson in the movie), a teacher in Wiley college bringing up a debate team to make laurels… But for this one liner no one could beleive they have made such a beautiful movie…
Hats off to Denzel Washington(direction) and Oprah Winfrey along with Joe Roth(production)… Every one knows that a teacher is behind every successful leader… Here its Tolson, Guess who r the debaters he made out…

Samantha Booke – a Lawyer who took the first freedom ride to Alabama
Henry Lowe – a Minister in USA.
To say it all… excellent movie, excellent acting (u cud even see the eyes of denzel washington acting when the team wins the cup) and overall a must watch…
In the Movie there are hell lot of things to learn, here is a nice motivational dialogue goes this way….
Who’s the judge?
The judge is God.
And why is he God?
Because he decides who wins or loses,not my opponent.
And who is your opponent?
He doesn’t exist.
Why doesn’t he exist?
Because he is a mere a dissenting voice to the truth that l speak.
That’s right.
Speak the truth.
And my favorite is this “The most powerful weapon is my words”…
Folks if u gonna get a chance to watch this movie pls DON’T MISS IT….
